The warm, sunny climate and well-drained soils provide favorable growing conditions for the hardy castor plant. Once mature, the spiny seed pods are harvested, and the seeds they contain are carefully processed into the characteristically viscous castor oil.

What makes castor oil special?
Targeted, intensive care provided by castor oil. Thanks to its high vitamin E content, just a few drops of the cold-pressed oil are sufficient. The amount varies depending on skin type.

RICH IN RICINOLEIC ACID
Castor oil has a particularly high content of ricinoleic acid, which gives it its characteristically thick consistency. As a result, the oil adheres well to skin and hair, enabling targeted, intensive care.

The rich oil forms a fine protective film and helps reduce moisture loss from the skin. It leaves particularly dry and stressed skin feeling softer and more supple.

FOR DRY SKIN
Castor oil is particularly suitable for rough areas on the hands, elbows, knees, or heels. Massage a small amount directly into the skin, or mix it with jojoba or argan oil for easier application.
FOR HAIR & HAIR ENDS
The rich oil can make dry lengths and brittle ends appear smoother and more supple. Apply sparingly, leave on for about 15 to 30 minutes, and then rinse out thoroughly.
FOR NAILS AND CUTICLES
Castor oil nourishes dry, stressed cuticles and gives nails a well-groomed appearance. Ideally, massage in one drop and let it absorb overnight.
